Security is one of the most important features for any bug tracking. BugHost has an advanced, fully-customizable security system that displays only the information you want to share with your team. Members of the project will be able to see only the information that they have rights for.

Administrators can configure the system to allow group or user access. You can set up groups by functional area, such as Administrators, Programmers, Testers, Managers, and Technical Writers. You can also name groups based on the type of access allowed, such as View Only, Submit Only, and Full Rights.

Project, Group, and User Security
Security rights are assigned to each field for each user or group. You can assign View, Submit, Edit, Add, Delete, and Allow rights, depending on the field.

Submit Rights - users may only submit bug reports
View Rights - users may only view bug reports
Edit Rights - users may update authorized fields in bug reports
Delete - users may delete file attachments
Allow - grants special rights to a user, such as fix or verify
